Water saving tips for more sustainable living

The average New Zealander uses 250-300 litres of water per day. There isn’t an endless supply of water in our dams and rivers and some parts of New Zealand experience water shortages, especially during Summer months.

Using water wisely at home is a great way to help the planet – and it makes it easier when the water bill arrives!

Small adjustments can add up to a substantial impact, so we’ve put together an infographic with some tips for using less water at home.

    I put a bucket in the shower and collect the water as it warms up. I either use it to top up the pool in summer to counteract evaporation or water the plants (all year round)
